Emily Procter

 

American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on October 8, 1968. She played Ainsley Hayes in the NBC political drama The West Wing (2000-2002; 2006) and Det. Calleigh Duquesne on the CBS police procedural drama CSI: Miami (2002-2012).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on the 8th of October 1968. She was adopted as an infant by William Procter, a general practitioner as well as Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. They raised her in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was just three years old when she divorced her parents. Whit is her older brother . She is also an adopted child.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter was educated in Raleigh. While at East Carolina University, she became a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and worked as a television weather anchor on WNCT TV in Greenville, North Carolina, later graduating with degrees in dancing and journalism.
